Reliability

From surveys of all its subscribers, Consumer Reports’ January 2024 Auto Issue reports that Honda vehicles are more reliable than Cadillac vehicles. Consumer Reports ranks Honda 11 places higher in reliability than Cadillac.

Engine

The Prologue’s optional electric motors produces 8 lbs.-ft. more torque (333 vs. 325) than the Lyriq’s standard electric motor.

Suspension and Handling

For greater off-road capability the Prologue has a 1.1 inches greater minimum ground clearance than the Lyriq (8.1 vs. 7 inches), allowing the Prologue to travel over rougher terrain without being stopped or damaged.

Chassis

The Honda Prologue may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 550 to 650 pounds less than the Cadillac Lyriq.

The Prologue is 4.7 inches shorter than the Lyriq, making the Prologue easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

Passenger Space

The Prologue has 6.6 cubic feet more passenger volume than the Lyriq (111.7 vs. 105.1).
