The Honda Prologue has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags helps prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags; this keeps them better positioned during a collision for maximum protection. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a serious frontal collision. The Electrified GV70 doesn’t offer a front passenger side knee airbag.

Both the Prologue and the Electrified GV70 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, rear parking sensors, rear cross-path warning and available around view monitors.

There are over 4 times as many Honda dealers as there are Genesis dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Prologue’s warranty.

From surveys of all its subscribers, Consumer Reports’ January 2024 Auto Issue reports that Honda vehicles are more reliable than Genesis vehicles. Consumer Reports ranks Honda 13 places higher in reliability than Genesis.

For better traction, the Prologue Elite’s tires are larger than the largest tires available on the Electrified GV70 (275/45R21 vs. 265/45R20).

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Prologue Elite has standard 21-inch wheels. The Electrified GV70’s largest wheels are only 20-inches.

Having a flat tire is dangerous, inconvenient and expensive. The self-sealing tires available on the Prologue can automatically seal most punctures up to 3/16 of an inch, effectively preventing most flat tires. The Electrified GV70 doesn’t offer self-sealing tires.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Prologue’s wheelbase is 8.6 inches longer than on the Electrified GV70 (121.8 inches vs. 113.2 inches).

For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Prologue is 1.4 inches wider in the front and 1.1 inches wider in the rear than on the Electrified GV70.

For greater off-road capability the Prologue has a 1.2 inches greater minimum ground clearance than the Electrified GV70 (8.1 vs. 6.9 inches), allowing the Prologue to travel over rougher terrain without being stopped or damaged.

The Prologue has 8.9 cubic feet more passenger volume than the Electrified GV70 (111.7 vs. 102.8).

The Prologue has 1 inch more front headroom, .1 inches more front legroom, 1.5 inches more front hip room, .3 inches more front shoulder room, 2.8 inches more rear legroom, .9 inches more rear hip room and .7 inches more rear shoulder room than the Electrified GV70.

The Prologue has a larger cargo volume with its rear seat folded than the Electrified GV70 with its rear seat folded (57.7 vs. 56.5 cubic feet).

The Prologue is available in both front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations. The Electrified GV70 doesn’t offer a two-wheel drive configuration.
